5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic reading! Couldn’t put it down!, June 1, 2010
Zara has supernatural powers and doesn’t understand why she’s different from everyone she knows. Enter Lance, incredibly hot, supernaturally powerful, and full of answers to questions she hasn’t even thought to ask. But is everything he says the truth? Now, Zara must decide if he’s the love of her life or her enemy. Which world does she belong to, and is the choice of how she wants to live her life really hers? I couldn’t put this book down and only ask Diane Farr, when will there be a sequel! I MUST know more! This book delivers and will keep you fully entranced.
From Kayden McLeod at Siren Book Reviews:
Diane Farr has created a wonderful story that follows the trials of a young girl who realizes that she isn’t like everyone else. With suspense, mystery and the pull of “is he my true love or mortal enemy” going Wicked Cool is a story I would recommend for any teenage girl … wonderfully developed supporting characters … Ms. Farr has created a book that is fun, and makes you long for that little extra power.
From http://the-stuff-in-between.com, we have this tidbit:
One welcomed respite from the week was a book called Wicked Cool. In full disclosure, my cousin’s daughter’s great aunt (or in another way of speaking, my cousin’s ex-husband’s aunt) is the author. What it boils down to is that this book is far better than Twilight, in my opinion. I tried to read Twilight since other moms had practically gone hysterical over the book, and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. But the writing was too young and immature for me. These are young reader books after all.
Wicked Cool, however, has more depth, vocabulary, and the characters are more varied. Three-quarters through I was only more immersed. The author, Diane Farr, acclaimed for Historical Romances, has stepped into a new genre with this book. If you know of any young readers who are into the paranormal genre, I highly recommend her new novel,Wicked Cool.
And we’re particular.
